Some like to argue that there is no such thing as American Culture, that America has no ancient history like European and Middle Eastern countries, that America is too materialistic, etc etc.

To them i say they are WRONG. There are so many things that make America unique...

America has some of the best schools in the world: MIT, Harvard, UCLA, Cal Tech, Brown University, Stanford University, UT Austin, Rice University and many more prestigious schools which have given the world hundreds of Nobel Prize laureates.

America has created some of the best movies and best TV shows in the world: The Simpsons, The Sopranos, 300, Braveheart, Breaking Bad, Saturday Night Live, the Western cowboy genre of movies, and many many more...

America is home of one of the most beautiful genres of music: Jazz. Kind of happy and sad at the same time like the roots of this music in the South... Also home of Soul and Punk and Rap and Heavy Metal of course....

Some of the world's greatest authors are American: Steinbeck, Charles Bukowski, Herman Melville, Hemingway and many others... Coleman Barks resurrected Rumi...

America is home to some unique and delicious kinds of cuisine such as Soul Food, The Hot Dog, Texas BBQ, The Hamburger, Tex-Mex, the doughnut which has conquered the world...

America is one of the most generous philanthropists in the world...

America is land of the Free... Free thinking and Free living...

America is home to some of the most innovative, paradigm shifting companies in the world:

IBM, Intel, Apple, Cisco, Google, Facebook, Tesla and many many more... The strongest brand in the world is Harley Davidson.

American welcome so many refugees from around the world including the hungry Irish and the Jews suffering Pogroms in East Europe. 

America is home to some world-renowned artists like Warhol and Rothko.

America is home of some of the best Rock N Roll and Heavy Metal Bands and Singers in the world: Elvis, Metallica, CREED, TOOL, Janis Joplin, Jimmy Hendrix

America is home of the Hippie anti-war movement... and at the same time they are not afraid to kick ass in Afghanistan, Iraq and Serbia/Kosovo/Bosnia... In retrospect, they really did not have a good exit strategy there. 

America defended the Bosnian Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina...

All of this and much much more make America a unique country and place to live and experience... I highly recommend it...
